RAVAND FabLab is an independent digital fabrication laboratory based in Zahedan, Sistan and Baluchestan, Iran. The Lab operates as part of the local innovation ecosystem and focuses on practical applications of digital fabrication, industrial design, reverse engineering, prototyping and small-scale manufacturing.
Our capabilities include 3D printing, CNC milling and laser fabrication, supported by CAD/CAM, 3D scanning, mechanical design and engineering workflows. We work with students, researchers, innovators, entrepreneurs and industrial clients on the development, prototyping, fabrication and improvement of physical products and components.
RAVAND FabLab aims to provide an accessible environment where people can learn, experiment, prototype and transform ideas into physical products. Our activities include technical workshops, digital fabrication training, product development, reverse engineering and engineering support for local projects.
As an independent FabLab in southeastern Iran, RAVAND is interested in connecting with the international Fab Lab Network, exchanging knowledge and experience with other laboratories, documenting projects and developing future educational and collaborative initiatives.
Our long-term goal is to strengthen digital fabrication capabilities in the region and create meaningful connections between local makers, designers, engineers, educational institutions, industry and the global Fab Lab community.
