The Pracownia Makerspace has been operating in Bydgoszcz, Poland since December 2018, running various workshops as well as cultural and social events. Currently the main activity are the crafts workshops. From sewing (including leather crafting), creating concrete pots, scented candles to soldering, 3D modelling and 3D printing and photography. The place welcomes anyone who has a need to use the available tools (or space) for their project. Pracownia organised more than 150 workshops and events during the first year. The function of the space is not only a makerspace, but also an incubator of various cultural, business and social events. At this point of time we are focused on build strong community first, having in mind the need to generate sustainable income in future.
