HAI.Lab is a youth-focused digital fabrication and innovation lab based in Shanghai, China. Our mission is to empower young makers, students, educators, and innovators through hands-on learning, rapid prototyping, and interdisciplinary STEAM education.Our parent company is called HAITEC(HAI Technology Education Center).
The lab is equipped with a comprehensive range of digital fabrication tools, including FDM and resin 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC machines, electronics workstations, microcontroller development platforms (Arduino, ESP32), AI and computer vision development kits, as well as design and prototyping software.
HAITEC specializes in digital fabrication education, AI-powered maker projects, robotics, wearable technology, rapid prototyping, and youth innovation programs. We regularly organize workshops, maker camps, community outreach activities, and technology innovation challenges for schools, communities, and industry partners.
The lab is founded and directed by a Fab Academy 2020 graduate, bringing global Fab Lab methodologies and the Fab Charter spirit into local educational and innovation ecosystems. HAITEC is committed to open knowledge sharing, collaborative learning, and active participation in the worldwide Fab Lab network.
