FabLab USAL located in Bejar is a digital creation and manufacturing laboratory of the University of Salamanca, focused on the prototyping of objects with digital technologies that is open to the community. It has technical equipment that combines the characteristics of digital and traditional workshops. FabLab USAL aims to promote a more creative use of technologies through digital prototyping, to promote practical, collaborative and interdisciplinary work in all areas of knowledge. The FabLab USAL offers new spaces and resources to the research community and students at the University of Salamanca and to support teaching and research in general. The creation of this FabLab is part of the TCUE Plan 2018-2020 within the framework of an operational programme co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund and the Junta de Castilla y León. The Fablab has available the main technologies ready to use: laser engraving & cutting, 3D printing by FFF, SLA, and SLS, precision CNC milling, cutter vinil, 3D scanning, among others.
