Anthony Goicolea has been one of my favorite photographers for a long time. your photos are as bullets stolen from a film - stills that drive me to imagine the time frames in a life that has never existed. or perhaps as easily, one that has lived in the head of one million times a million. his paintings are almost exclusively self-portrait works, often repeated exposures him apart as a group of people within the frame voiceswakeus.
childhood, vulnerability, homosexuality, and power; photos always manage to leave a subtle imprint on my brain and strong flavor of adolescence to remind my tongue.
