Bio

Jean-Christophe heads the economic development agency Descartes Développement & Innovation (DD&I) including the Incubator and the Fablab, located Cité Descartes, sustainable city cluster in Marne-la-Vallée (Paris-East, France).
DD&I's missions are to:
• Contribute to the influence and attractiveness of Cité Descartes and its stakeholders;
• Participate in the creation and development of start-ups and innovative business projects, primarily in the field of "sustainable cities", in particular by operating the Descartes Incubator and entrepreneurship support programs;
• Foster relationships between academic and training actors, communities and businesses;
• Operate a digital manufacturing workshop, Descartes Fablab, open to all audiences including businesses, academics and students;
• Implement appropriate partnerships and projects with local stakeholders.
