SnakeWorks
We’re excited to introduce a new machine, designed to combine digital fabrication, electronics, and creative coding in a hands-on way. To showcase its capabilities, we’re using a modern reinterpretation of the classic Snake Game as a demonstration project.
The Snake Game is simple, visual, and instantly recognizable, making it perfect for learning. With this machine, users can design and fabricate custom controllers, enclosures, or LED displays, then program the game logic using microcontrollers or single-board computers. Each iteration “grows” just like the snake itself—adding features such as sensors, sound, or wireless input.
This approach allows makers to:
Learn rapid prototyping through repeated design cycles
Combine hardware and software in a playful way
Test precision, responsiveness, and ergonomics of fabricated parts
Explore game logic, feedback loops, and user interaction
By using the snake game as a reference project, the new machine becomes an accessible entry point for beginners while still offering depth for advanced users. It’s a fun, effective way to demonstrate how ideas can evolve step by step—one move at a time.
