Kossel

Kossel is a parametric delta robot 3D printer that Johann constructed in 2012 in Seattle, USA, and is based on his Rostock prototype.

The German biochemist and forefather of modern genetics, Albrecht Kossel, is the inspiration for its name. In 1910, he was bestowed the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine for his efforts in deciphering the molecular make-up of nucleic acids, the building blocks of DNA and RNA.
