The STEM Laboratory of Lam Son High School for the Gifted, Thanh Hoa Province, is a modern learning space sponsored by Vietnam National Industry – Energy Group (Petrovietnam). Officially inaugurated on November 20, 2026, the lab provides students with advanced equipment and hands-on opportunities to explore science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. It is designed to inspire creativity, innovation, and practical problem-solving skills through experiments and research projects. The STEM Lab reflects Petrovietnam’s commitment to supporting education and nurturing young talents who will contribute to the sustainable development of Vietnam.
As one of the largest and best-equipped STEM laboratories in the region, the facility provides students with a modern environment for hands-on learning, research, and innovation. The lab is divided into three specialized areas. The Engineering Workshop is equipped with CNC machines, laser cutters, and vertical cutting machines for design and fabrication projects. The Robotics and IoT Laboratory features a wide range of VEX IQ and VEX V5 robotics systems, together with IoT development kits for robotics programming, automation, and smart technology projects. In addition, the lab is equipped with 3D printers and various precision measuring instruments that support engineering design, prototyping, experimentation, and scientific research.
The STEM Lab serves as a hub where students transform ideas into practical solutions while developing creativity, critical thinking, teamwork, and digital competencies for the future.
