Because of its inception, the STEM Lab has served as the hub for numerous experiential educational activities, scientific research initiatives, and large-scale technology competitions. A prime example is the 2025 Cau Giay VEX IQ Tournament, which attracted 49 teams from 44 classes. The competition not only provided an environment for students to develop STEM mindsets, programming skills, and teamwork abilities but also served as the foundation for establishing 5 Cau Giay Robotics teams to compete in national and international tournaments. Cau Giay Secondary School students have continuously achieved impressive milestones in Robotics competitions:
- VEX IQ Scrimmage at True North International School: Secured 2 First-Place finishes in the Teamwork Alliance and 1 Third-Place award.
- 2026 National VEX Robotics Kick-off (held at the National Innovation Center - NIC): Won 1 First Prize, 2 Second Prizes, and 1 Third Prize.
- 2026 VEX Robotics Vietnam National Championship - Northern Region (Lạng Sơn): Honored with 2 Excellence Awards, 1 Design Award, 1 Creative Award, and 1 Build Award.
- 2026 VEX Robotics Vietnam National Championship - Northern Region (Hà Nội): Won 1 Middle School Teamwork Champion (First Place Alliance), 1 Middle School Excellence Award, 1 Innovate Award, 1 Robot Skills Champion, 1 Middle School Second Place Alliance, 1 Elementary School First Place Alliance, 1 Robot Skills Third Place, and 1 Robot Skills Second Place.
- 2026 VEX Robotics Vietnam National Championship: Secured a total of 11 awards, with 3 outstanding teams officially qualifying for the 2026 VEX Robotics World Championship in the United States.
At the VEX Robotics World Championship 2026, held in St. Louis, Missouri, USA, and bringing together some of the world's most outstanding robotics teams, the teams from Cau Giay Secondary School delivered an impressive performance in the VEX IQ Robotics Competition.
From the qualification rounds, all three teams successfully advanced to the elimination stages. In the Alliance Finals, they achieved remarkable results:

These outstanding achievements demonstrate the students’ creativity, engineering skills, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork. They also contribute to showcasing the talent, confidence, and determination of Vietnamese students on the international technology stage.
Beyond Robotics competitions, the school regularly organizes STEM experiential activities, lessons, scientific research projects, and creative programs for students directly within the lab. This is an ideal environment for students to apply interdisciplinary knowledge to solve real-world problems, while developing critical thinking, collaborative skills, creative capacity, and an innovative spirit. The STEM Lab at Cau Giay Secondary School has also become a destination for site visits, exchanges, and academic learning for numerous international delegations. The school has had the honor of welcoming teachers and students from prestigious Singaporean schools such as Dunman Secondary School, Crescent Girls' School, and Kent Ridge Secondary School alongside many domestic and international educational organizations coming to visit, experience, and engage in academic exchange.
