About 30 million people living in developing countries require mobility devices. Most, can't afford them. Rural lab uses low cost 3D printing and scanning technology to reduce the time and money needed to make a device. A laptop, 3D printer and 3D scanner is all we need to setup a fully self-sustainable, digital manufacturing lab which can create Affordable and high quality transtibial prosthesis specially design for rural needs.
Andhra Pradesh, India, was chosen as the first location for our project. we are recruiting money to be able to setup the first lab and
to serve thousands of people with mobility difficulties who cannot afford the high price of decent prostheses.
