Param Makersadda Jayanagar is Bharat's open-innovation playground — a public-facing, hands-on, multidisciplinary makerspace in 7th Block, Jayanagar, Bengaluru, and a local entry point into Param Innovation, Param Foundation's open innovation engine. It's built on one belief: anyone can innovate, and the people closest to a problem are usually the ones best placed to solve it.

It's a Commons Lab where students, makers, artists, entrepreneurs and everyday citizens turn raw ideas into working prototypes — building fearlessly across disciplines. Under one roof you can work with woodworking and light fabrication, multi-material FDM 3D printing, laser cutting, a full electronics and IoT bench, robotics, AR/VR and software, all supported by mentorship and a maker community. Our philosophy is simple: build fast, fail smart, learn faster, use whatever works, stay playful, and always start with a crude version 1, then iterate. Heavy fabrication, PCB and CNC machining are done with Param's Manufacturing Makers Lab, and advanced robotics and simulation are available at PARSEC (Jayanagar 4th Block).

We're driven by Param Foundation's vision of a billion innovators — empowered by transdisciplinary learning and rooted in their communities — using creative innovation to solve real problems, whether they're society-scale challenges or an individual's everyday need. We run trainer programmes (fabrication, electronics, robotics, design thinking, documentation) and innovation programmes (hackathons, think-a-thons, maker challenges, micro-grant prototyping and public showcases) that transform ordinary citizens into innovators.

Above all, Makersadda empowers a local makers community and connects it outward — to national and international maker networks, and to industry, startups, colleges, universities and schools in and around the region. It's where local ingenuity meets global collaboration: inclusive, culturally rooted, and always hands-on.
