The Active Learning Lab is a FabLab where all students and members of UCT (University of Chemistry and Technology) can come and learn to prototype in Digital Fabrication Technologies.
It serves as the central space for the LifeLongLearning Course on Creative Digital Fabrication and Automation Course that anyone can enroll into and earn ECTS credits while learning about maker skills and applied science.
The space fosters multidisciplinary collaboration between 5 different institutes of the University and brings together a creative and entrepreneurial spirit on campus.
