FabLab NoDa is a small facility in the heart of the NoDa neighborhood in Charlotte, NC, run by a local artist, Will Rudolph, opening up his studio and equipment to the surrounding community to help educate and engage artists and others about the ways that technology has transformed and continues to change the creative landscape both digitally and physically.

At FabLab NoDa, contemporary digital fabrication equipment exists alongside more traditional woodworking and metalworking tools, as well as artistic equipment such as sewing machines, printing presses for relief and intaglio, and wheels and kilns for ceramics. We believe in and teach digital fabrication, both in the sense of bits and bytes, and capable fingers and hands, working together at the intersection of art, craft, and technology. We focus on guided engagement and consulting for local artists, individuals, and companies, as well as limited open access, membership, and various other forms of engagment.

We host regular open houses and workshops on a variety of subjects as well as offering the FabAcademy course in 2026.
